Seeking a Technical Support Engineer II to provide world-class software support as a subject matter expert.   As a Technical Support Engineer II, you will provide primary technical product support for Integrated Systems software products, as well as other products that rely on firmware and network configuration. You will also provide secondary product technical support for the balance of the Shure Integrated Systems product line. You will create and conduct external training seminars for Shure dealers, sales representatives, end users, and, occasionally, international distribution centers.  

Under general supervision, the Service Technician II advises and serves by providing in-house technical repair services, training, and information to customers. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and system failures using standard procedures. Performs testing and calibration of repaired products. Assists product development teams in development and reparability of new products.

A Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) plays a key role to Shure’s product development teams and in supporting ongoing production. Reporting within the quality division, the primary responsibility of a senior SQE is to provide supplier quality & mechanical engineering services to operations, quality, and product development engineering divisions. In this role the SQE operates within cross-functional teams comprising members from multiple departments to develop new products, evaluate potential suppliers, and monitor existing suppliers to drive performance improvement. Within these product development teams this position represents the supplier quality team at all stages of product development progressing from concept through launch. This position acts as a liaison between suppliers, manufacturing plants, purchasing, and product development. This role is expected to operate with a high level of independence within the team-based environment and requires the ability to execute complex tasks with minimal supervision. The position is hybrid in-person/remote based in Niles, IL with opportunities to travel to suppliers and manufacturing facilities globally.
