Are you ready to take your career to the next level with an industry leader in audio technology? We're seeking a dynamic and passionate Market Development Specialist to drive business growth by generating demands and opportunities in the vibrant Pro Audio market segment in Brazil. 

 

This position is based in São Paulo - SP.

 

Responsibilities

  • Implements strategic plans to seed and go-to-market with new products and technologies
  • Identifies, researches, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to influence purchases and specifications with key end-users and influencers
  • Identifies needs for education programs and helps to develop and deliver presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure’s product categories
  • Executes educational programs, presentations, conferences, seminars, clinics and other events with Sales Management to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company products
  • Assists independent channel partners in identifying and closing leads and opportunities
  • Identifies and forms relationships with potential customers outside of the current Company revenue stream
  • Creates new revenue opportunities by matching customers, applications and products
  • Monitors and reports on competitive activity, both from a product and market development standpoint
  • Monitors online forums as assigned and reports on items of interest to the Company
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pro audio market with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and equipment and continues developing professional expertise
  • Background or experience with broadcasting and music industry
  • Has a full understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures
  • Experience providing audio technical support, audio design and audio equipment set-up
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enjoys meeting and dealing with new people
  • Knowledge of audio DSP technology
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments work independently and see projects through to successful completion
  • Detail oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Language skills: Fluent Portuguese. English highly desired. Spanish a plus
