Overview

Reporting to Manager, Sales, the Associate Sales Manager should be self-motivated and highly performing, to ensure that sales strategies are being instituted and that sales goals are being met. This includes customer acquisition, analyzing sales trends and revenue growth targets in keeping our company competitive and innovative.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a portfolio of clients within the designated sales territory, ensuring strong customer relationships and understanding of their needs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute sales objectives, aligned with the company's business goals and strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategic distribution and business proposals to expand the customer base and achieve desired business performance.
  • Support business growth initiatives, including revenue contribution, specific vertical market emphasis, and relevant product segments.
  • Monitor sales cycles, stay updated on market shifts, new products, and competition status, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Assist in presenting sales performance, revenue reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing department to generate leads and support sales generation through offline and online activities and specified events.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service and Demand Planning department to manage customer orders, pipelines, and ensure efficient and timely delivery.
  • Provide support to the Sales Manager in various sales-related tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the professional audio, video and conferencing industry; candidates with no less than 5 years of relevant channel management experience are preferred.
  • Strong self-driven thinking and independent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to thrive under multi-task pressure.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in a dynamic sales environment, able to adjust strategies and approaches based on market changes and evolving business needs.
  • Detail oriented, disciplined and strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with clients, team members, and internal stakeholders.
  • Computer Literate – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience with SAP, SalesForce are considered as an advantage.
  • Willing to travel.
