Overview

Reporting to the NPI Manager or Maintenance Engineer, this role is responsible for executing corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on assembly equipment in production areas, attending to and executing the following tasks:
    • Responds to and promptly addresses production calls.
    • Escalates failure events to engineers within 30 minutes.
    • Knowledge and support of setups (die changes, torque changes, press adjustments, etc.).
    • Performs maintenance on production equipment necessary to meet established goals.
    • Identifies required spare parts.
    • Creates and tracks purchase orders.
    • Prepares downtime and top offender reports.
    • Controls spare parts inventory for production equipment.
    • Participates in the PST team for each area and provides objective support.
    • Communicates with corporate to track spare parts or required equipment information.
    • Develops, modifies, and follows up on project plans.
    • Supports technicians in performing their duties.
    • Creation of Tool Orders.
    • Follow-up with Engineering and/or Management.

Qualifications

  • Final semesters of a related Engineering degree in the manufacturing field.
  • Completed or currently enrolled in a technical degree or diploma program in Maintenance Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or another technology-focused field.
