Overview

The primary goal of the market development team is to generate demand among end users. This involves identifying the appropriate products for specific end-user segments needs. Market development is essential for Shure's competitiveness and end-user base expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to Distributors, resellers, dealers, system integrators, consultants on project bidding.
  • Works collaboratively with marketing team to arranges conferences, seminars, trainings, and other special events.
  • Works closely with sales team, in managing the relationship with dealer, reseller, SI, consultants and End-users.
  • Works with Applications Engineers to coordinate solution demonstrations, technical training and commissioning to End-user.
  • Identifies, researches, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to reach potential customers.
  • Partner with Global Business Development team to collect the customer voice and needs, support managing global accounts, strengthen local sales partnerships.
  • Identifies new market segments and opportunities.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and conducts training sessions to educate distributors, system integrators, consultants and dealers on product benefits and sales techniques.
  • Provides inputs to the global business development, marketing and sales team on the Company's product lines, competitive activity, from Market Development standpoint.
  • Monitors and reports on market/competitor activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering/Marketing/Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a seasoned, experienced professional with comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in channel management and Global Accounts, a PLUS.
  • Strong in analytical skills and problem solving from diverse scopes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese with good communication in all levels and organizational skills.
  • Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, well-organized, and time-management skills.
  • Computer literate. Experience with SAP – an ADVANTAGE.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
