Overview

Are you ready to advance your career in customs? We are seeking a skilled Customs Specialist who excels in import/export operations. You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in managing temporary inventories and overseeing the preparation and control of Annex 24 and Annex 30.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop processes for the reconciliation of Annex 24 and Annex 30 inventories.
  2. Analyze and manage the balances of temporary imports within the Customs system.
  3. Analyze and control discrepancies between Annex 24 and SAP, ensuring appropriate corrections across systems.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret information such as Bills of Materials (BOM), tables, and classifications.
  5. Manage and update Data Stage.
  6. Handle import and export operations, including temporary, definitive, virtual, regime changes, and returns.
  7. Prepare import/export reports to comply with both Mexican and American regulations, as well as internal requirements.
  8. Process import and export documentation in accordance with Mexican and American customs requirements.
  9. Serve as an internal auditor for OEA-IVA-IEPS.

Qualifications

  • Completed University Degree: Bachelor's in Foreign Trade, International Commerce, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Conversational English 80%
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in foreign trade operations
  • Knowledge of Customs Law
  • Familiarity with general foreign trade regulations
  • Understanding of NAFTA tariff preferences
  • Expertise in Annex 24 and Annex 30
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficiency in customs systems
