Overview

Provide inspection and testing services to ensure piece parts, assemblies and finished goods meet Shure quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Select materials to be inspected by using appropriate instructions and tools;
  2. Perform the inspection of piece parts, subassemblies and finished goods using written instructions, blueprints and standards
  3. Make judgement for inspected materials and products according to instructions or standards, and record results of the inspection
  4. Know and understand all inspection guidelines
  5. Record detail inspection findings to the inspection problem list according proper instruction and support QE to follow up the corrective and preventive actions;
  6. Fill out required paperwork when necessary.
  7. Coordinate the non-conforming material process.
  8. Assist Quality Engineers on daily quality issues.
  9. Second shift in process and final inspection support.
  10. Perform ESD facility audit regularly;
  11. Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  1. Have Intermediate math, computer skill
  2. Read, understand and follow inspection instruction
  3. Use small hand tools and gages (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  4. Can use material handling equipment (i.e. pallet-jack, scale, etc.)
  5. Hand soldering skill preferred
  6. High school or Technical School or above
  7. At least 2 years’ experience in quality inspection
