Senior DevOps Developer

 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join a global team with stakeholders across the US, India, Scotland, Denmark, and China. You will actively contribute to our CI/CT/CD infrastructure an serve as a liaison to our IT department. Additionally, you will play a key role in our transition journey to cloud-based products and infrastructure.

 

This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities

Your Role

As a Senior DevOps Developer, you will:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of product development tools for Shure’s software ecosystem.
  • Liaise with product development teams, ensuring they have the infrastructure and tools needed to take Shure’s products to market.
  • Maintain and improve Shure’s CI/CT/CD environment with a focus on availability, security, and support.
  • Document development, staging, and production environments, developing monitoring and reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications

Who You Are

You are passionate about audio and it-technology and possesses:

 

  • A B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Robust experience developing software and automation activities, i.e., build, release and deployment, as well as creating and integrating industry tools.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, C/C++, .Net, Shell, Make, & CMake).
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools and concepts, i.e., Git, Subversion, & Jenkins, Configuration as Code, CI/CD and Continuous Test.
  • Experience developing code to automate tasks and processes, using the right technologies depending on the circumstances.
  • Experience with SAFe and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as experience of fully documenting tools and processes.
  • Aptitude to collaborate with geographically diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud vendors – especially AWS - as well as experience working with Docker, Cloud formation, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus and network infrastructure is a plus
  • Professional experience with various environments (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android).
