Overview

Under supervision, the Technicl Recruiter, Contractor is responsible for planning, development, evaluation, implementation, and execution of a recruiting strategy for assigned positions to secure the best talent for the Company.  Includes, but is not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers and onboarding of candidates for open positions.  This position will partner with the Human Resources and Hiring Managers hire the best talent for the Company. 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers staffing & recruiting programs, working with Hiring Manager to document requirements of job openings as required. 
  • Develops innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs of each Hiring Manager.   
  • Leverages various resources to source qualified candidates using the internet, media, formal/information networks, social networking etc., to source a diverse candidate pool. 
  • Responsible for pre-screening resumes, conducting phone and in person/virtual interviews to evaluate and provided recommendations to the Hiring Manager.  
  • Negotiates and/or supports Hiring Manager in developing new hire compensation package that is aligned with the Company Compensation philosophy.  
  • Works with agencies to recruit for temporary or contract openings, providing performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources.  
  • Fosters a pipeline for key or frequently available positions on a continuous basis. 
  • Develops, supports, and maintains college recruitment and intern & graduate trainee program.  
  • Participates in recruitment and selection projects and recommends changes to the process to increase attraction and retention of highly qualified candidates. 
  • Maintains ongoing awareness of the Company’s business and customer groups in order to effectively recruit the best talent. 
  • Complies with state, and local regulations by administering employment practices within standard operating procedures. 
  • Support other Human Resources functions as necessary.  
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field  
  •  0-6months of experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of recruiting best practices.
  • Proven ability to identify, establish, and access candidate sources to successfully fill career opportunities within established metrics 
  • Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work on problems/issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Computer literacy required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to establish priorities and determine appropriate action in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Associates at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to deal with sensitive and confidential issues by telephone, in writing, and face-to-face contacts with the public and Associates.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
