Overview

Reporting to the Director of Sales (Head of SKHKTM Sales & Marketing), the Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing and generating demand among key end users and UC/IT channel accounts, as well as expanding the client base within the UC, IT, and AV sectors across Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Macau (SKHKTM region) markets. This role entails generating leads, developing and maintaining trusted relationships with end users and UC/IT channels, and collaborating with designers. The ideal candidate will excel in end-user and UC/IT channel engagement, training, and strategic planning while staying informed about market trends and competitor activities. The aim is to ensure that Shure remains the manufacturer of choice for our customers and to build your reputation as the primary Shure contact in the UC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Actively involved in tactical planning to ensure targets are met, while managing key end users and UC/IT channel accounts, expanding Shure’s client base within the UC, IT, and AV sectors across the SKHKTM region.
  • Effectively generating leads and developing lasting trusted relationships with clients.
  • Working with Shure distribution channels to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and provide an excellent customer experience within the UC and IT industries
  • Arranging and attending meetings with customers to ensure they are kept up to date with new products and technologies, ensuring Shure remains their preferred manufacturer, while passionately engaging them in Shure solution demos, training, and Shure product certification.
  • Supporting customers and managing enquiries. Execution of customer events
  • Ensure CRM (Salesforce) reporting and forecasting is accurate and always up to date.
  • Provide regular updates and information on the market and sales potential, be aware of competitor successes and new trends. Preparation of customer reports.
  • Familiar with the Marketing Plan between Shure and AV/IT distribution channel and work with the Shure Business Leader and Channel Marketing team on execution as directed.
  • Partner with Global Business Development team to collect the customer voice and needs, support managing global accounts, strengthen local sales partnerships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a sales account professional/technical sales professional with IT and UC background.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in channel management and Global Accounts, a PLUS
  • Professional experience in the UC, IT, and AV markets working for a manufacturer or distributor
  • Knowledge and understanding of the UC market/solutions and the operations of resellers and integrators.
  • Existing relationships or networks within the UC / IT industry.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers (management, purchasing managers, or IT managers).
  • Confident, passionate professional who excels in building efficient and trusted business relationships
  • Team player skilled in collaborating with internal and external departments for optimal outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
  • Committed to building your reputation as the Shure contact in UC.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Computer literate. Experience with SAP, CRM (e.g. Salesforce) – an ADVANTAGE
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely when necessary.
