Overview

  • Reports Directly to the Production Manager
  • Coordinates necessary training with the Human Resources department and Production Supervisors
  • Reviews the vacation schedule for the production departmnt across the plant
  • Reviews production schedules and assigns personnel to the production line
  • Handles purchases and quotes for production administration supplies and improvement projects
  • Generates general performance reports for the production area
  • Verifies and validates transactions and movements in SAP, SDS, ADP, ARIBA
  • Oversees and validates material handling in production areas
  • Validates and tracks 5S and continuous improvement projects within production areas

Responsibilities

  1. Initiate and follow up on continuous improvement projects to enhance processes in collaboration with the production team.
  2. Generate daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for management.
  3. Provide support in tracking payroll regarding absenteeism and authorizations.
  4. Support in monitoring the daily production plan, adherence, DPS (Daily Production Schedule), and daily attendance.
  5. Maintain information on PST (Production Support Teams) boards.
  6. Create or modify work instructions and department formats.
  7. Support the ISO9001:2015 Quality System by following up on corrective and preventive actions (IAFs), and RPS (Rapid Problem Solving).
  8. Act as a temporary substitute for the production supervisor as needed.
  9. Validate Scrap Reports (Transaction 551) and inventory variations (Code 12).
  10. Coordinate and validate overtime in all production areas.
  11. Follow up and validate the administration of material handling in production areas.
  12. Develop and follow up on improvement projects for material identification in production lines.
  13. Generate detailed reports in management systems such as SAP, ADP, ARIBA, and SDS.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or current engineering student or incomplete degree
  • Experience in project development and quality systems
  • 70% proficiency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent communication skills at various levels of the organization
