Overview

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, provides the requested production materials and ships them to other plants.

Responsibilities

  • Provides materials from their respective locations
  • Deducts each material issued from the inventory ledger
  • Performs manual counts of parts or uses the electronic scale
  • Packs the provided materials appropriately
  • Helps maintain the warehouse area in an orderly, clean, and safe condition
  • Reports any discrepancies or differences int he inventories under their responsibility promptly
  • Is responsible for the proper use of equipment in the performance of their duties
  • Assists in the performance of other warehouse functions

Qualifications

  • Shure employees applying as candidates must have an oustanding attendance record (no more than 3 unexcused absences within a 6-month period); and at least 6 months of seniority with the company.
  • External candidates must have at least one year of experience in the position
  • Middle School education
  • Ability to work effrectively in a team and achieve goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Availability to switch to the first or second shiift if required b y the company's needs
