Overview

Join our Sales team as a key player in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing market leads and opportunities. Reporting directly to the Sales team, you'll be planning programs and participating in field events to support the growth of our products in targeted market segments. Your role will include gathering customer leads and feedback on our products, programs, and services to improve our offerings. You'll excel at delivering top-tier service through engaging and supportive pre- and post-sales (technical) interactions, fostering long-lasting relationships with every account. We're open to experienced managers or junior managers eager to grow into the role.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, researches, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to reach potential customers
  • Identifies new market segments and opportunities/pipelines by means of networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients, across key market of prioritization and product lines
  • Develops and executes education programs and presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company product categories
  • Schedules, coordinates, and conducts pre-sales and technical training/service sessions to educate Distribution Centers, System Integrators, Consultants on Shure products’ benefits and developing their sales skills/knowledge
  • Develops and maintains the relationship with the System Integrators, Consultants and end users by working closely with Regional Sales Manager on the sales process, in providing support on projects’ bidding, management and commissioning
  • Works collaboratively (by means of technical and logistical support) with marketing team to arranges conferences, seminars, clinics, and other events
  • Monitors and reports on market/competitor activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/Communication/Electronics engineering or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with comprehensive technical knowledge on audio principles and products
  • Good understanding of industry practices and/or company policies/procedures and having experiences in pre (technical sales)/post support processes
  • Able to provide good technical capability and accessibility on Audio (Preferably with AV/IT and RF) related products, including onsite support
  • Technical AV certifications such as CTS, Crestron DMC-D, Dante, Network audio, a PLUS
  • Having knowledge in AV project design, planning and management in market segments such as, office meeting/collaboration spaces, audio/video conferencing and education environment, a PLUS
  • Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, well-organized, and time-management skills
  • Computer literate. Experience with SAP and CRM, as well as Channel management – an ADVANTAGE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English, with good communication in all levels and organizational skills
  • Individual with excellent people skills, self-driven, dynamic, passionate and responsible personality with upright attitude and able to work in a fast pace environment, meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments and be adaptable to work independently, or as a team player
  • About 30% of travel annually
