Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing key customer accounts and expanding the client base within the UC, IT, and AV sectors across the UK. This role entails generating leads, developing and maintaining trusted relationships with customers, and collaborating with designers, sales teams, and influencers. The ideal candidate will excel in customer engagement, training, and strategic planning while staying informed about market trends and competitor activities. The aim is to ensure that Shure remains the manufacturer of choice for our customers and to build your reputation as the primary Shure contact in the UC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing key customer accounts and increasing client base within the UC, IT & AV sector.
  • Dealing with new and existing customers across the UK.
  • Effectively generating leads and developing lasting trusted relationships with customers.
  • Working with designers, sales teams and influencers within UC, IT & AV integrators to provide excellent customer experience .
  • Arranging and attending meeting with customers to ensure they are kept up to date with new products and technologies and ensuring Shure is the manufacturer of choice for those customers
  • Passionate and driven to engage with customers in training and certification of Shure products
  • Supporting customers and managing enquiries. Execution of customer events
  • Actively involved in tactical and strategic planning to ensure targets are met
  • Ensure CRM reporting and forecasting is accurate and always up to date.
  • Reporting directly to the Senior Sales Manager, Conferencing and provide regular updates and information on the market and sales potential, be aware of competitor successes and new trends. Preparation of customer reports.

Qualifications

  • Circa 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Confident, passionate professional who excels in building efficient and trusted relationships.
  • Team player skilled in collaborating with internal and external departments for optimal outcomes.
  • Professional experience in the AV, UC, and IT markets working for a manufacturer, integrator, or distributor.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the UC market and the operations of resellers and integrators.
  • Technical understanding of various UC solutions.
  • Existing relationships or networks within the UC / AV industry.
  • Skilled presenter capable of developing and managing key relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers (management, purchasing managers, or IT managers).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely when necessary.
  • Committed to building your reputation as the Shure contact in UC.
