Overview

To reinforce our Sales team in the Netherlands we are looking for a 

 

Sales Manager

 

In this role you will operate and expand our retail business in the Netherlands. You will develop and execute the regional retail and channel strategy, and be accountable for executing the specific plans, budgets, and ideas to deliver revenue growth. Working both strategic and practical. This position is based in Culemborg (The Netherlands).

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for managing existing customer accounts at all levels and potential.
  • Use the retail strategy to evaluate channel expansion opportunities and oversee the execution and development of new accounts where it makes sense.  
  • Own strategic relationships with our most important accounts. This includes difficult negotiations, problem solving, and diffusing channel tension to mitigate business risk.  
  • Delivery of Sales Target at Reseller level
  • Maintenance of agreed stocking profile(s) and any agreed MDF/Bonus schemes
  • Manage issues arising from Counterfeit/Grey Import product – in partnership with IPMS
  • Be an active part of the sales and marketing activities of our Resellers, such as consumer shows, demonstration events and trade shows.
  • Execute and co-ordinate new product launch activity.
  • Engage actively with Shure Centers to further develop brand positioning and messaging
  • Work closely with nominated Premium Partners to develop G2M strategy and identify possible future Shure Center(s)
  • Passion and drive to engage resellers/consumers in understanding the benefits of the Shure portfolio
  • Ensure CRM reporting and forecasting is accurate and up to date always
  • Be an active part of internal sales meetings and in developing marketing and sales strategies as well as promotions.
  • Consistently generate ideas and solutions to fill revenue and growth gaps on a regular basis
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager and provide regular data, on the market situation, competition and new trends through travel and customer reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and/or graduate coursework is desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Sales experience and several years of relevant professional experience in the MI market working for a manufacturer or reseller.
  • Confident, professional and possess good business acumen.
  • Advanced understanding of the Netherlands retail landscape, including how the various channels operate, and the future direction or retail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the benefits of working with end users, and internal and external contacts and know how to own a project from “conception to completion”.
  • Technical understanding in different professional audio applications is an advantage.
  • Capable with strong presentation skills and ability to develop and manage key relationships at all levels with all business stake holders.
  • Demonstrates excellent influencing and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized and process driven, excellent communication skill both written and verbal in Dutch & English.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with excellent follow-up credentials.
  • Strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work productively with a wide range of cross functional peers.
  • Capacity for taking direction from senior management.
  • Willingness to travel.
