Overview

The Manager of Global Accounts is managing and growing key accounts on a global scale. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, developing strategic account plans, and driving revenue growth. Global Account Management (GAM) is the focus of Shure's sales, marketing, and service resources, through a select team of key customers. These customers are deemed vital to Shure’s future because of their potential large volume purchases over an extended time. Global account management is a strategic sales/support tool that facilitates the development of an effective, long-term customer relationship or strategic partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our global accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of each global account, providing tailored solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities that can drive growth and enhance our market position as well as identify potential threats to our partnerships, allowing us to proactively address any risks and safeguard our business relationships
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments, anticipating customer needs and proactively identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for our global accounts, understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored solutions.
  • Connect and collaborate with market and product associates to gather insights, exchange information, and align strategies. This collaborative approach ensures that our global accounts are well-informed about market trends and product developments, enabling us to deliver value-added solutions and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Demonstrate the operation and installation of Shure product to end users and explain how it fits into the Unified Communications landscape
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management.
  • Strong ability to think globally and effectively communicate across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully managing global accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the industry, market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
  • Very good business and financial acumen to develop and execute market strategies, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, influence stakeholders, and present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex business problems, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Convey the needs and requests of Global Accounts throughout the company.
  • Coordinate customer related activities with other Shure market facing colleagues to ensure a consistent message and level of support to the customer.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, embracing change and leading teams through transformation.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of time.
