Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator I, Systems to join our IT team. The successful candidate will provide essential system administration support, including managing Active Directory, Office 365, data center operations, and other typical system administration tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Active Directory Management: Maintain and manage Active Directory, including user account creation, group policies, and permissions.
  • Office 365 Administration: Administer Office 365 services, including user management, email configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Data Center Support: Assist in the maintenance and support of data center operations, including server management, backups, and monitoring.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide first-level support for system-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including patch management and vulnerability assessments.
  • Software and Hardware Installation: Install and configure software and hardware, including operating systems and applications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to support various IT projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a system administration role or similar IT support position.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
    • Basic understanding of data center operations and server management.
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
