Overview

Reporting to Director, Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for driving Shure’s business forward by working with internal and external teams within the Southeast Asia territory. You'll develop and implement exceptional channel strategies for our customers, and enhance Shure's brand in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of independent manufacturer’s representative/organizations and distributors, by establishing strategic plans to achieve and exceed annual sales quotas for Shure product lines. Measure channel partners’ performances to that plan, using key performance indicators, coaching them on adding value to the customer experience.
  • Direct management of key accounts, developing and executing a progressive business plan based on a strong understanding of our end-user needs that aligns with brand strategy. Develops a detailed knowledge of key accounts and maintains personal contact with key dealers.
  • Reviews pass through/sell out sales programs regarding performance versus goal, identifies areas of concern and success, and proposes action plans to improve performance.
  • Works closely with the Regional Marketing and Market Development teams to increase meaningful exposure of Shure products and the Shure brand.
  • Monitors territory profit margins and plans accordingly to meet or exceed division objectives.
  • Develops and implements an effective schedule of sales meetings, promotional and product planning, trade shows, clinics, business meetings and collaborative efforts cross-functionally.
  • Plans and monitors budgets according to fiscal year objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales/channels management.
  • Working knowledge of the modern retail and AV/IT projects landscape in assigned territories.
  • Seasoned, experienced professional with technical knowledge on audio principles and products, is a Plus
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM/CSP, is a plus.
  • Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams. Collaborative and consultative skills to influence others across several functional areas.
  • Analytical driven with good data interpretation skills
  • Able to interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Shows thought leadership. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Individual with excellent people skills, self-driven, dynamic, passionate and responsible personality with upright attitude, and able to work in a fast pace environment, meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments and be adaptable to work independently, or as a team player.
  • Experience with preparing and adhering to a budget.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
