Overview

The Associate Manager, Global Pricing is responsible for managing pricing data, pricing methodologies and pricing processes to ensure that Shure’s pricing worldwide maximizes company profitability. This is a one-year contractual position that may be modified in the future based on business conditions and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Executes SAP price data management (price maintenance including mass uploads) 
  • Maintains pricelists and margin calculation tools
  • Supports pricing strategy for new products and revenue streams, including cloud-centric software and value-added services
  • Works closely with regional sales and marketing leaders to roll-out new product pricing, price adjustments, and promotional pricing
  • Collaborates with business analytics team to develop analytical tools, evaluate scenarios, and highlight trade-offs between the profit and market share opportunity/risk of various options
  • Refines and streamlines Shure pricing processes to align with overall strategy and promotes and ensures compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, finance, sales operations, commercial strategy, or other related experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PPT), SAP S4/Hana & Tableau and other analytical tools
  • Conversant with hardware, software and service pricing and price management
  • Product management exposure and technical acumen of products in the audio space are a plus
  • Ability to support competitive analysis and ecosystem assessment
  • Strong analytical skills including scenario modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and offering data insights and recommendations post analysis
  • Self-driven team player, with strong multi-tasking and context switching skills to engage in multiple projects in parallel
  • Out-of-the-box thinking, problem solving, and comfort with gray space
  • Ability to prioritize goals while maintaining deadlines, executing on deliverables, and keeping team members informed of status
  • Excellent English language skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and deliver presentations, balancing depth and breadth of information tailored to the audience  
  • Ability to travel if required
