Reporting to the Senior Manager Performance Marketing, Hong Kong, the Senior Manager, Digital and Performance Marketing, Japan is a member of the Global Marketing team and play a critical role in supporting both Global and Japan marketing teams in reaching the digital marketing goals.


  • Align Japan regional content & digital activities with global process, priorities, campaigns, and technology platforms
  • Oversee deployment of Shure corporate brand in Japan, across all customer touch points including print, digital, and events, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines as well as impact in the Japan market
  • Lead digital marketing activities for the Japan office, in partnership with Japan channel marketing and Global Marketing
  • Manage the execution of global campaigns in Japan, ensure feedback loop with Performance marketing team leads and regional marketer
  • Enable reliable execution and frequent delivery of optimization activities, and ensure quality outputs by team members.
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns with the Analytics team and identify actionable insights to optimize their ROI.
  • Build digital marketing plans to support regional sales and marketing teams to reach their business goals, across all Shure business verticals (digital display, SEM/SEO, email, paid social, and other tactics)
  • Oversee website localization and optimize eCommerce implementation for Japan
  • Lead social media management (Facebook/Twiiter/Youtube) in Japan, including Japan-specific channels like LINE
  • Work with outside freelancers and agencies to develop Japan-specific marketing content
  • Manage Global Marketing staff in Japan, including digital/web and graphics/video freelancers


  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years work experience in Digital Marketing, including at least 3 years of managerial experience
  • Strong experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across B2B and B2C
  • Experience or knowledge in ecommerce marketing (Amazon, Rakuten, Yahoo! Shopping, etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of social media marketing, including YouTube, Line, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM for Marketing (Email Studio, Social Studio) is a plus
  • Familiarity with website development, CMS, SEO, web analytics
  • Experience managing creative and digital projects with freelancers and agencies
  • Must be a self-starter, able to develop and drive initiatives with minimal supervision; strong organizational and planning skills are required
  • Must be collaborative and able to work effectively in a global team environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle several projects at once and being able to prioritize tasks is a requirement in this position
  • Native Japanese speaker
  • Good command of English communication (oral & written)
  • Some travel may be required (5-10%)
  • Some late evening meetings with US/Europe associates will be required (1-2/week)
