Shure started the journey to implement SAP S4 HANA in a phased manner with the goal to drive business transformation and ‘green field like’ approach. The first phase (Central Finance and Central payments) is live and Indirect procurement which is the second phase went live Oct 2022 and will be followed by the remaining phases Order to Cash, Direct Procurement & Manufacturing and so on. 

 

The application eco system leveraged to enable key business processes globally at Shure spans across different technologies including SAP (S4, ECC, CPI, IBP, Hybris), Salesforce, Boomi, ShipERP, Amber Road Customs, Integration Point Customs, Loftware, Data Platform (Informatica, AWS/Red Shift), Tableau, Sharepoint, Service Now, etc.

 

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, high-performing hands-on individual in SAP Order to Cash area (Sales and distribution, Logistics Execution & Billing) to enable go to market strategies for the next generation of Shure’s software embedded products and solutions.  Working alongside your team, you will play a pivotal hands-on role in ensuring that solutions are delivered with quality and that expectations are met for functionality, useability, reliability, and availability. 

 

In your role as Senior Analyst, SAP Business Applications (Sales & Distribution) you will collaborate closely with the internal IT associates and business resources located in US, Europe and Asia to successfully build, enhance and support solutions that maximize business value.

 

This role is hybrid, based in Niles, IL. We will also consider remote applicants. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the product owner, IT leadership, and other stakeholders to contribute to the technology roadmap related to software-based product initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation of a clear set of fully documented features and user stories that are part of a well-balanced, product backlog.
  • Work on end-to-end solution design of identified user stories within the product backlog in collaboration with the  Digital commerce team
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog and work with the team to do sprint planning
  • Determine acceptance criteria and help write test cases for unit and Integration/user acceptance testing
  • Responsible for execution of unit and system integration testing of planned user stories to be delivered
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, reporting, and defect resolution & prioritization with the business leads
  • Communicate, collaborate, and negotiate with key stakeholders at various levels in the organization
  • Create to-be process flows, impact analysis, and decision documentation
  • Obtain appropriate buy-in and alignment on difficult decisions to solve complex issues, knowing how to negotiate, and when to escalate when appropriate
  • Work with other members of the team to effectively manage risks and issues
  • Adhere to IT guiding principles of leveraging standard business processes, out of the box functionality, Low code/no-code, minimal customization, drive business value, business outcomes and enable positive customer experience
  • Continually review evolving SAP technologies, assess potential impact, and propose innovative solutions and/or enhancements to existing business processes.
  • Provide impact analysis and inputs as needed around proposed enhancements to existing solutions or new solutions
  • Provide L1/L2/L3 application support in line with established SLAs; Assist with the resolution of Support tickets, Problem Management issues as applicable
  • Provides guidance for design alternatives and communication across functional and technical areas of projects, including best practices in data management, e.g. pricing, order management, delivery handling and invoicing.
  • Processes design and/or leads across-board, complex, tightly integrated business processes, including integration with other systems platforms, e.g. EDI, 3rd Party Logistic System integration, etc.
  • Collaborate with IT Digital Commerce, Engineering, Salesforce team and Data team to contribute to solution design, integration with SAP, testing and implementation
  • Collaborate and support the SAP development & SAP security team located in US and India during development, testing and implementation
  • Understand the data platform capabilities and support the implementation of the new platform during blueprint, testing and go live; Support the newly established Data Governance processes
  • Ensure solution design proposal adheres to the established security and IT standards.
  • Participate and support all phases of the project including planning, blueprint, solutioning, development, testing and support as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a Global organization, and partnership with offshore teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent work experience in a relevant business area (Business Administration, Logistic, etc).  Graduate coursework is desirable. 
  • Functional/technical proficiency with at least 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementations and 5+ years of global enterprise and/or consulting experience in SAP Sales & Distribution / Lead to Cash systems implementation and support of a live environment
  • Experience in solution design and configuration of business processes within RAR (preferred), SD and integration touchpoints with FI/CO
  • SAP S/4 Lead to Cash implementation experience
  • Understanding of iPaaS tools such as Boomi or SAP CPI
  • Experience working on full-life cycle agile experience
  • Core expertise in various SAP SD/Lead to Cash areas such as Customer Master management, Quotation process, Order/delivery/invoice process, Pricing, integration with EDI & 3PL support experience
  • Desire to learn other adjacent technologies such as Revenera Flexnet Operations, Hybris etc…
  • Demonstrated work experience showcasing expertise in integration with other SAP processes in logistic, production and finance
  • Knowledge of workbench tools such as data dictionary and ABAP debug.
  • Maintains a current awareness of SAP product developments and trends and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity within Shure.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis and technical requirements definition
  • Ability to synthesize information to form a feature or user story that’s aligned with the stated business objective(s)
  • Strong desire to be deemed a technical subject matter expert across multiple business applications which support a full end-to-end software license provisioning process
