Product Manager

Seeking a Product Manager that is needed to manage Shure’s DSP and networked interfaces and new product roadmap! 

You will manage Shure’s DSP hardware and network interface portfolio and roadmap, championing the voice of the customer for AV conferencing applications. This position collaborates with Corporate AV/IT End Users, Systems Integrators, and all levels of Shure Engineering, Global Marketing and Sales to capture and prioritize customer needs and develop a business case around proposed solutions. 

• Manage a portfolio of DSP hardware and network interface products.
• Document and assess the business opportunities for unmet AV conferencing end user needs. Leverage help from Customer & Market Insights (CMI) to conduct market research.
• Collaborate with Regional Product Marketing & Market Development associates to address business trends with new product concepts or updates
• Represent the Global Marketing and Sales Division during new product development projects from inception through launch.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to document product requirements, focusing on user experience, audio quality, ease-of-use, and ease of integration.
• Guide Shure’s UX efforts towards intuitive workflows while ensuring consistency between Designer Software system interface and the component device interface.
• Support Global Marketing with customer and application background to inform new product launch collateral and events
• Maintain knowledge of competitive AV products and trends, leveraging end-user and channel partner relationships to validate and prioritize requirements
• Work with Shure’s technical writers & content developers to review user documentation for accuracy regarding product features, usage, and performance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or product management of a technical product with responsibility for results.
• Experience with the installed AV marketplace, with emphasis on Microphone, DSP and Loudspeaker products
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business, or marketing
• Experience setting up networked audio products preferred
• Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams
• Strong communication skills, with experience in market research
• Excellent critical listening, analytic, and writing skills
• Ability to travel 10-20%, depending on project phase: Research trips, 2-3 Trade Shows, Beta Testing, Launch Events etc.)
