As a Digital Signal Processing Engineer II you will work on cross-functional project teams and assists with designing, implementing, testing, and release of digital signal processing algorithms for professional audio equipment. You will be responsible for the overall audio quality of the product, which includes conducting thorough listening test evaluations.


  • Assists with the design, simulation, development, and test of real time audio signal processing algorithms for fixed-and-floating-point DSPs and associated components (ADCs, DACs) in a PC environment
  • Participates in the selection of hardware components such as DSPs, ADCs, DACs, memory, etc.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional development team to design and implement cutting edge audio products and technologies
  • Learns to simulate designs using Matlab and other prototyping tools; conduct listening validation tests
  • Estimates, organizes, and documents tasks
  • (Include in higher-level Engineers)Analyzes and assists in determining system software test standards and procedures
  • Learns to develop and executes system software algorithm performance
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering with an emphasis in Digital Signal Processing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Some course work around Audio AI
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DSP processor architectures and modeling DSP algorithms using Matlab/Simulink and continues developing professional expertise.
  • Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work on problems/issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Understanding of test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, audio analyzers, and digital multi-meters
  • General Understanding of software development tools such as Integrated Development Environments, compilers/linkers, and debugging tools (emulator, profiler, etc.)
  • General understanding of audio industry standards and organizations (AES, ITU, IEEE, etc.)
  • Experience in studio recording, live sound reinforcement, and/or live performance is desirable.
  • Manage time efficiently to support project teams
  • A general interest and experience working with audio electronics is a plus ability to communicate technical topics both verbally and in written form
