Planning Manager will both lead the Planning Team and coordinate cross-functionally with other departments in the factory to ensure production schedules meet market demands and effectively utilize factory resources.  Lead all factory planning activities including daily production scheduling, capacity planning, scheduling of new product launches and coordination of product transitions.  Reporting directly to AVP of Global Planning.


  1. Oversee the team responsible for all aspects of Factory Planning and scheduling for both mass production and NPI
  2. Manage weekly, mid and long-term factory capacity planning for both machine capacity and staffing
  3. Support analysis and escalation of material shortages with a global Purchasing team
  4. Lead the team in setting and achieving both weekly, monthly and annual target
  5. Coordinate with Shipping and Import/Export to set weekly shipping schedule
  6. Support both Planning and factory continuous improvement initiatives
  7. Manage WIP inventory strategy to support improved response time and OTD
  8. Coordinate with Production Manager to plan future staffing, OT and equipment utilization
  9. Oversee new product ramp-up and transitions activities
  10. Support monthly S&OP factory capacity plan
  11. Work closely with Manufacturing to set priorities and align resources to support.
  12. Other assigned tasks.


  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Minimum 10-year planning experience with hands on knowledge of SAP / IPB in manufacturing plant
  3. Minimum 5-year of experience in leading planning team
  4. Proficient skills in data analysis, interpretation and presentation of analysis results.
  5. Rich experience in leading cross functions/divisions projects in multi-national company.
  6. Professional communication and presentation skill both in Spanish and English.
  7. Leader with a proven track record of team building and development
  8. Ability to work on issues where the analysis of situations or data requires, as well as an understanding of company culture.
  9. Able to establish and ensure adherence to budgets, schedules and work plans.
