Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Application Software Development Intern will assist in building back-end and client-side web applications, translating our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. This is in support of connected IoT solutions.

This Internship is 100% Hybrid or Onsite in our Irvine, California Office.


  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of web applications using React and Node.Js
  • Assist with implementation of RESTful APIs using SQL and GraphQL
  • Collaborate with developers to improve usability and user experience
  • Assist developers with coding, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Participate in the creative design, development, and implementation of complex applications using new technologies and best practices


  • In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Must be a proactive and continuous learner
  • Highly organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, team player, detail-oriented
  • Able to meet required deadlines
  • Proficient with markup languages, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and styling React components
  • Proficient with browser testing and debugging, cross-platform issues, and resolution
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
