Overview

SUMMER 2023


Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

 

As the Recruitment Marketing Intern, you will help build and communicate our employer brand and employer value proposition to attract, hire and retain top talent.

 

This Internship can be 100% Remote or Hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and Marketing Team to create content on many new initiatives that include recruitment marketing, diversity, equity and inclusion, onboarding new hires to Shure, employee engagement, etc for the US.
  • This role may also develop content for our global locations as well.
  • You will bring fresh ideas to help us develop new strategies to find niche candidates in today's highly competitive market by designing innovative, proactive solutions
  • You will create recruitment-focused content for multi-channel distribution including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, digital advertisements, email and campus recruiting material, as well as managing various social media initiatives.
  • You'll review Shure’s Recruitment media channels in various markets to make sure our employer brand is in tip-top shape. (Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.)

Qualifications

  • In-process of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Marketing or Graphic Design related field. At least two years of completed coursework.
  • Experience building Social Media Content and Campaigns, primarily on social media sites such as, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Facebook
  • Highly creative and passionate about design.
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures
  • Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented
  • Able to meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adobe suite skills – license – photoshop
