The Sr. Product Manager, Global Product Management champions the voice of the customer for new microphone and loudspeaker products for AV conferencing applications. You will collaborate with Corporate AV/IT End Users, Systems Integrators, and all levels of Shure Engineering, Global Marketing and Sales to capture and prioritize customer needs and propose the product attributes that will best meet them. 


This position can be hybrid from our Niles, IL Headquarters. 


  • You will directly manage a portfolio of assigned Microphone and Loudspeaker products
  • You will document and assess unmet AV conferencing end user needs. Leverage help from Customer & Market Insights (CMI) to conduct market research plans.
  • You will collaborate with Regional Product Marketing & Market Development associates to address business trends with new product concepts or updates
  • You will represent the Global Marketing and Sales Division during new product development projects from inception through launch.
  • You will collaborate with Systems Engineers to document product requirements, focusing on user experience, audio quality, ease-of-use, and ease of integration.
  • You will provide guidance and customer connections to UX colleagues to develop the software user interface for new products. Test and validate expected workflows
  • You will support Global Marketing with customer and application background to inform new product launch collateral and events
  • You will maintain knowledge of competitive AV products and trends, leveraging end-user and channel partner relationships to validate and prioritize requirements
  • You will work with Shure’s technical writers & content developers to review user documentation for accuracy regarding product features, usage, and performance.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Experience with the installed AV marketplace, ideally with Microphone, DSP and Loudspeaker products
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business or marketing
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing or product management of a technical product with responsibility for results
  • Experience with networked audio products is desirable
  • Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
  • Strong communication and customer interview skills and sensibilities
  • Excellent critical listening, analytic, and writing skills
  • Ability to travel multiple times per year (10-20%, depending on project phase: Research trips, 2-3 Trade Shows, Beta Testing, Launch Events etc.)
