Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

Do you also happen to be drawn to the latest technologies in professional audio applications? No grabbing donuts and coffee required. The Website Content and SEO Intern will work closely with the Shure Pro Audio marketing team as you focus on website content management, SEO, analytics, and strategy for our growing online portfolio of wireless and wired microphone technologies. Working with internal subject matter experts and content focused associates, the intern will assist in website content and SEO audits, analysis, and strategy.

This internship will be Hybrid out of the Niles, IL or Chicago, IL office. 



  • Shure digital content audit to ensure existing content (videos, training materials, articles, brochures, manuals etc.) is up to date and strategically placed throughout Shure websites for maximized customer engagement
  • Shure wireless systems and product pages optimization and simplification – with a focus on benefits over features while drawing attention to Shure Pro Software benefits for wireless applications
  • Select competitive website content audits and analysis
  • Learn and apply SEO best practices for content that consistently ranks at the top of search results for key applications and product pages
  • Continue to optimize content performance with ongoing audits while tracking key metrics with Google Analytics and other tools


  • In-process of a bachelor’s or other advanced degree (Marketing or Communications focus a plus)
  • Highly organized and project management oriented
  • Understanding – or eagerness to learn and apply – digital content and SEO concepts and best practices
  • Familiarity with, or interest in, Google analytics and other analytic tools
  • Excellent written English skills: ability to adapt and match company tone of voice
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures
  • Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented
  • Able to meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
