SUMMER 2023


Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

 

The Web Development Intern will assist in creating, updating and editing content for Shure Tech Pub, creating and editing web applications, and assisting in other web-related projects as necessary. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate team player on the path to becoming a great web or app developer.

 

This Internship is 100% Remote

Responsibilities

  • Write custom HTML, JS, CSS and Typescript (Angular) for existing web-applications.
  • Design, recommend and pitch improvements to new and existing features.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems.
  • Update and edit website content, posts and pages.
  • Provide technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.
  • Test and give feedback on new and existing technologies.
  • Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies and features as assigned.

Qualifications

  • In-process of a bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Some experience with HTML,CSS and JS
  • Familiarity with Angular 8+ and Typescript is strongly preferred
  • Highly organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures
  • Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented
  • Able to meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
