As the Coordinator II, Product Management, you will provide support to our Global Product Management Department. You'll champion the set-up, maintenance, and discontinuation of Shure products in SAP, and other related software applications and work closely with Engineering, Operations, and the Global Marketing and Sales teams to understand the needs, requirements, and information needed throughout the product life cycle. You'll use your analytical skills to consider business needs, customer needs, and engineering cost/time/risk considerations to make optimal recommendations. Let's get started! 

Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical and administrative support to the product management department.
  • Maintains relationships throughout the organization to facilitate the NPI, DPN, and CR processes and to provide status reports.
  • Provides GPM support reviewing and updating labels in Loftware.
  • Provides internal Global Product Management training related to Shure’s PLM processes and systems including New Product Introductions (NPIs), Discontinue Product Notifications (DPNs), WILMA, Sharepoint, Loftware Flexnet, etc.
  • Represents the Global Marketing and Sales Division during LCM and MOL product development projects as the “voice of the customer” ensuring that product attributes will create a positive end user value proposition.
  • Writes detailed functional requirements for Life Cycle Management/Maintenance of Line (LCM/MOL) product development teams ensuring that the development team has clarity on the measures of success in meeting these requirements.
  • Assists GPM project team members to execute timely Alpha and Beta testing with end users.
  • Coordinates/assists with industry and competitive product testing, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Reviews user documentation for accuracy regarding product features, proper usage and expected performance.
  • Occasional Trade Show Product Support
  • Performs other related duties as requested, such as taking notes for GPM category/regional meetings, EZBuy, department shipping needs, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, audio knowledge or a technical background preferred.)
  • Ability to work independently, receiving little instruction on daily work, but receiving general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
  • Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well with internal departments of the Company.
  • Excellent critical listening, analytic, verbal and writing skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office software and internal IT systems with the ability to learn new software.
