The Global Trade Compliance Project & Training Analyst II is responsible for overseeing Trade Compliance Projects & Trainings worldwide and developing trainings and project plans for the use in global plants & distribution centers.


This role can be 100% remote in the US or hybrid out of our Skokie office.


  • Ensures proper trainings and educational materials are available to various stakeholders in order to educate the organization of the proper processes to comply with international customs regulations.
  • Designs, establishes, executes Trade Compliance processes and trainings to meet international customs regulations standards.
  • Execute trainings with various stakeholders including Product Managers, Systems Analysts, Engineers, and Developers to ensure adherence to Trade Compliance standard.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineers, and developers to create proper product introduction plans through project management.
  • Reviews and updates current Policies, SOP’s, WIand, communicate improvements to management and stakeholders to ensure that proper implementation and company objectives are met.
  • Ensures Compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Leads product education sessions for the Trade Compliance team.
  • Designs and builds an eLearning Framework for learning within the Shure Trade Compliance ecosystem.
  • Understands interaction within a business process and from an internal end user experience view point
  • Resolves issues and optimizes existing processes to meet company expectations.
  • Assists in the development of any reports or documentations needed for compliance purposes (Country of Origin certificates, HTSUS codes) and to ensure documentations are maintained, and, when applicable, entered correctly in SAP.
  • May represent the Company at industry/field events.


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of Trade Compliance and Project Management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Training experience
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) proficient
  • eLearning/web learning experience developing training modules
  • Demonstrated ability of working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
  • Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams
  • Ability to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated abilities to collaborate with associates at all levels of organization up to C-suite
  • Ability to develop and administer schedules and establish performance requirements
  • Licensed U.S. Customs Broker is desirable
  • SAP a plus
