In your role as Senior Logistics Analyst, you will assist with developing solutions that affect the global supply chain and distribution in support of improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will plan, schedule, and coordinate the supply, material flow, and storage of inventory from the supplier to the customer throughout the manufacturing process.


  • Develops and implements global logistic plans through analysis and support to enhance product workflow that affect production, transportation, distribution, and inventory
  • Responsible for global claims filing, follow up, negotiations and reporting.
  • POC for Global Training of Hazardous Cargo and responsible for completion reports and following up with Distribution Leaders and Plant Logistics Leads to ensure training is completed.
  • Creates, maintains, and reviews reports for transportation management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  • Initiates root cause analysis and support implementation of permanent corrective action.
  • Assists in developing and implementing solutions that affect global supply chain and distribution, by performing analysis, developing conclusions, and presenting findings.
  • Creates and maintains communication tools that support productive relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Builds and maintains supply chain analysis models utilizing a set of predetermined metrics that support a continuous improvement process.
  • Provides a global logistics support role to all internal customers by providing freight quotes and delivery window estimates.
  • Works with global vendors to negotiate and coordinate delivery of required inventory.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional in supply chain logistics and distribution, including multi-mode carrier pricing, customs compliance and transportation regulations, multi-point distribution, and big box retail distribution
  • Has a full understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures including benchmarking, requests for quotes (RFQ), contract negotiation, new global solution roll out
  • Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Data processing experience with focus on quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Attention to detail, methodic approach to solving problems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SAP basic functionality
  • Minimal travel
