Under general supervision of the Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist II will work closely with the Digital Marketing team, vertical marketing leads, and global partners to manage and maintain social media (paid and organic) and other digital channels. They will internally and externally traffic social campaigns and assets, manage social media communities, and write social media posts for global channels, acting as “owner” of one or more of Shure’s global social accounts. Will conduct relationships with agencies and other vendors, maintaining accountability and ensuring appropriate reporting. Will place paid social ads and coordinate with agency on large campaigns, pull and analyze ad hoc reporting, contribute insights, and provide recommendations. Will work closely with Customer Market Insights to help ensure proper tracking and reporting on Web traffic from marketing campaigns. Travel to trade shows and global meetings may occasionally be required. May participate in search engine optimization (SEO) and other digital marketing activities.


  • Assist in the creation of digital marketing strategies and tactics and the creation of effective digital content.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns and work as a liaison between global marketing partners as appropriate.
  • Working with internal stakeholders globally, develops an effective schedule of content for social media channels, and traffics campaigns and other creative assets externally and internally. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant social media tools and best practices.
  • Manage social media communities, interacting appropriately with end users in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage paid media programs to company goals, which may include paid social and paid search (SEM) programs, depending on current needs. Work with vendors and through third-party platforms as needed. Report internally as appropriate.
  • Gather and report meaningful analytics on digital marketing activities described above and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, web analytics, PPC and social media
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work on problem/issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Able to exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
  • Able to perform basic customer service functions by answering inquiries from social channels.
