Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Content and Digital Marketing, Hong Kong.

This position can be hybrid from our Tokyo office.

Responsibilities

  • Align Japan regional content & digital activities with global process, priorities, campaigns, and technology platforms
  • Oversee deployment of Shure corporate brand in Japan, across all customer touch points including print, digital, and events, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines as well as impact in the Japan market
  • Work with outside freelancers and agencies to develop Japan-specific marketing content
  • Lead digital marketing activities for the Japan office, including website, digital media, social media, email marketing, and Salesforce, in partnership with Japan channel marketing and Global Marketing
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership for Salesforce CRM initiatives such as email marketing
  • Build digital marketing plans to support regional sales and marketing teams to reach their business goals, across all Shure business verticals
  • Plan and implement digital campaigns across digital display, SEM/SEO, email, paid social, and other tactics
  • Lead social media management in Japan including Japan-specific channels like LINE
  • Oversee website localization and eventually lead eCommerce implementation for Japan
  • Lead adoption of Salesforce CRM tools including Email Studio and Social Studio
  • Establish digital marketing analytics and tracking for Japan digital activities
  • Manage Global Marketing staff in Japan, including digital/web and graphics/video

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years work experience in Digital Marketing, including at least 3 years of managerial experience
  • Strong experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across B2B and B2C
  • Experience or knowledge in ecommerce marketing (Amazon, Rakuten, Yahoo! Shopping, etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of social media marketing, including YouTube, Line, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM for Marketing (Email Studio, Social Studio)
  • Familiarity with website development, CMS, SEO, web analytics
  • Experience managing creative and digital projects with freelancers and agencies
  • Experience or knowledge in influencer marketing (Youtube, Instagram, etc.)
  • Must be a self-starter, able to develop and drive initiatives with minimal supervision; strong organizational and planning skills are required
  • Must be collaborative and able to work effectively in a global team environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle several projects at once and being able to prioritize tasks is a requirement in this position
  • Native Japanese speaker
  • Good command of English communication (oral & written)
  • Some travel may be required (5-10%)
  • Some late evening meetings with US associates will be required (1-2/week)
