Overview

Shure is seeking a Supply Chain Management and Planning Sr Analyst for our growing SAP team. The primary responsibility for this position is to function as a subject matter expert ("SME") and play a key role in SAP S/4 HANA implementation in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Planning, and related functions and capabilities. Scope includes SAP applications and integration with other non-SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will help design solutions in SAP S/4 HANA, participate in the discovery and design workshops, develop business requirements, design business processes, guide best practice process, data management, support the configuration, development and implementation and support of new SAP capabilities and solutions.

 

They will work closely with business teams, department heads, IT team members, software vendor teams and other subject matter experts to identify develop, deploy, and support business processes with a focus on technology transformation to enable the IT Portfolio of Projects as well as Strategic Transformation Initiatives at Shure

Responsibilities

  • Be the Subject matter expert for SAP configuration and implementation with experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA Supply Chain Management and Planning
  • Create any templates, artefacts, or documents (business process documents, configuration documents, process flows, etc.)
  • Leverage architectural diagrams and maintain an inventory of systems
  • Participate in the discovery and blueprinting sessions around Supply Chain, Planning requirements and related processes within S/4 HANA System to deliver robust solutions
  • Create & validate the functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement, Forms and Workflows (RICEFW) objects
  • Own multiple tasks and responsibilities and provide regular updates to business users and management team
  • Work with users to develop test cases, test scripts and test plans. Knowledge of software testing procedures with ability to perform integration and functional testing
  • Drives threads of projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality in SAP supply chain management and planning
  • Partners with Inhouse Development team to coordinate support projects, enhancements, and maintenance activities
  • Provides guidance for design alternatives and communication across functional and technical areas of projects, including best practices in handling Demand Planning process, S&OP, and Response and Supply
  • Helps to set expectations for area of responsibility, establishing priorities, and documenting potential improvements that achieve business outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of SAP experience as an application lead in the SAP Supply Chain Management modules
  • Extensive experience in SAP configuration and implementation with SAP Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Forecasting within ECC 6.0 or S/4 HANA
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes areas 
  • Knowledge of SAP APO or SAP IBP is a bonus
  • Must be able to lead complex global project requirements, working closely with variety of business and IT groups
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Self-motivated and must be a strong team player with proven skills in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Core expertise in various SAP SCM areas such as inventory controlling, MRP (Material Requirement Planning), Purchasing process handling up to invoice control, PR/PO approval process, etc.
  • Demonstrated work experience showcasing expertise in integration with other SAP processes in sales & distribution, production, and finance.
  • Ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis and technical requirements definition
  • Able to drive the application architecture in SAP and/or influence business process change
  • Demonstrated ability in performing in a changing and dynamic environment with ambiguity and incomplete information
  • Experience in project management methodologies and how to apply to deliver results
