Overview

Under the direction of the Director, Sales – Southeast Asia, the Sales Manager provides sales services and support across assigned territories within the region.  We are looking to hire a passionate, self-motivated high-performing Sales Manager to ensure that sales strategies are being instituted and that sales goals are being met. This includes customer acquisition, analyzing sales trends and revenue growth targets in keeping our company competitive and innovative

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients within the designated sales territory
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by means of close affiliation and understanding of their needs with appropriate business support
  • Develop, manage and provide execution of all sales objectives/activities according to the business goals and strategy, aligned to maximize business opportunities.
  • Review, plan, implement and follow up on strategic distribution/business proposal appropriately and timely that expands the company’s customer base and achieving the desired business performance
  • Generate efficient business growth, where not limited to the overall revenue contribution, but also in the area of specific vertical market emphasis and/or relevant product segment.
  • Monitor sales cycle, identify and react against market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Presenting sales performance, revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team and other internal counterparts
  • Coordinating with Marketing department on leads and sales generation through key offline and online activities and/or on specified events
  • Coordinating with the Customer Service and Demand Planning department to manage customers’ orders, pipelines and to ensure efficient and timely delivery
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant Sales (Distribution) and channels’ management experience
  • Southeast Asia sales and marketing experience in marketplace from the professional audio/visual industry and consumer electronics with basic technical knowledge, a Plus
  • Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers
  • Experience in planning, implementing sales strategies and demonstrate precise follow through
  • Proven track record of growing a territory, developing new customers, consistently outperforming against new business targets, and growing existing top tier customers.
  • Demonstrated the ability of strong accountability, self-motivation and consistent determination in attaining productivity, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Great teamwork and energetic attributes with ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and command of written and spoken English, a MUST; Mandarin, preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and literacy in Windows based software
  • Knowledge on Salesforce and SAP, a plus
  • Ability to travel with approximately 30% of time
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
