    We have a Videographer I opening in our downtown Chicago office. The Videographer will assist in all pre- to post-production aspects of video content development including script reviews, filming, audio recording, lighting, and editing. A passion for producing original and engaging videos in a variety of styles and subject matter is required. Must be proficient in both production and post-production and able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality. Must be a great team player who enjoys both collaboration and independent work. Will assist in video shoots both in the studio and in the field.

    Responsibilities

    Projects will vary, but will focus mostly on educational, training, and internal videos.  Other types of projects that will come up will include social media, product overview, and marketing videos. Must have experience taking a project from script development to production to editing. This position requires excellent organization, communication and project management skills in support of video production and editing with an emphasis on quality, creativity, attention to detail, and timeliness.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production or equivalent 1-3 years’ experience
    • Proficient with video editing in Premiere Pro.
    • Must have experience operating cameras (DSLR or interchangeable lens cameras) and solid understanding of composition.
    • Must be a self-starter, deadline-oriented and skilled at time management; strong organizational and planning skills are required.
    • Must have high level of attention to detail.
    • Have a strong understanding of the production and post-production process.
    • Ability to work independently once direction has been given.
    • Must be collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of various social media platforms and how to use video to engage with different audiences.
    • Ability to juggle several projects at once and being able to prioritize tasks is a requirement in this position.
    • Some travel to trade shows or offsite shoots is required.
    • Experience with motion graphics is preferred, but not required.
    • Experience with audio mixing is preferred, but not required.
