If so then we have a great opportunity for you! Shure is hiring for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing recruiting team in Skokie/Niles, IL. This position will be responsible for planning, development, evaluation, implementation, and execution of a recruiting strategy for assigned positions to secure the best talent for the Company.  This roll will include full cycle recruitment, which includes, but is not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, testing, and reference checking of candidates for open/new positions.  This position will collaborate with Business Leaders, Hiring Managers and Human Resources Business Partners to recruit high caliber talent into the organization. Not only will the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist lead recruitment initiatives, but they will help drive the onboarding process, planning for our growing internship program and expanding our employment brand.


    • Develops and administers staffing & recruiting programs, working with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required
    • Develops innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs of each hiring manager.
    • Leverages various resources to source qualified candidates using the Internet, social media, print, media, formal/information networks, etc., to source a diverse candidate pool.
    • Responsible for pre-screening resumes, conducting phone and in person interviews to evaluate and provided recommendations to the hiring manager
    • Negotiates and/or supports hiring manager in developing new hire compensation package.
    • Works with agencies, to recruit for temporary or contract openings, providing performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources.
    • Continuously fosters a pipeline for key or frequently available positions.
    • Develops supports and maintains college recruitment and internship program.
    • Participates in recruitment and selection projects and recommends changes to the process to increase attraction and retention of highly qualified candidates.
    • Maintains ongoing awareness of the Company’s business and customer groups in order to effective recruit the best talent.
    • Complies with federal, state, and local regulations by administering employment practices within standard operating procedures.
    • Additional duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of recruiting best practices for technical positions (Software, Engineering, IT).
    • Proven ability to proactively identify, establish, and access candidate sources to successfully fill career opportunities within established metrics. Experience recruiting for technical (Software, IT & Engineering) positions is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience actively sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter.
    • Computer literacy required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of the federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
    • Clear and concise verbal and written communications.
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively in sensitive and confidential issues by telephone, in writing, and face-to-face contacts with the public and Associates at all levels of the Company.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
