    Prime opportunity for a global marketer to lead our Amazon strategy - pun intended! 

     

    The Manager, Global Amazon Marketing will lead and orchestrate Shure's Global Amazon Marketing strategy and define a seasonal promotional calendar to maximize our business in key territories.  He/She will partner with the Global Amazon Sales Lead to strengthen our position and relationship with Amazon, as well as leverage the platform's effectiveness and conversion capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop Amazon marketing playbook; including guidelines, best practices and infrastructure that will apply to various regions.
    • Work with Amazon sales firm and internal stakeholders to define RACI matrix involving core Amazon team, channel marketing and global marketing.
    • Ensure Amazon is a priority touchpoint in major initiatives happening around the globe.
    • Recommend strategies and promotional budget considerations in order to maximize product launches, marketing initiatives and sales conversion campaigns.
    • Optimize global go-to market process to ensure campaigns, assets and back end functionality are available simultaneously for OPC.
    • Define comprehensive planning and budget for US AMS buy and orchestrate other regional budgets to include headline, sponsored and product display ads for branded protection and generic keyword campaigns.  Work with outside rep firm and in-house Amazon AMG account team to optimize regularly for maximum ROI
    • Define global strategy for yearly retail promotional calendar within the US and work for parity with regional promotional and marketing plans to include “EGG”, Dads and Grads, Prime Day, Off to College/BTS and Holiday features.
    • Work with outside rep firm and channel partners to launch and optimize A+ content  for the US, and get process organized to distribute content to regional Amazon sites for global parity.
    • Partner with Global Amazon Sales lead to coordinate yearly retail marketing campaign out of US MDF and Coop budget.
    • Evaluate and explore new services offered by Amazon based on vertical objectives for integration throughout the year.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing communications, channel marketing or related field.  Graduate coursework is desirable.  
    • Minimum of 7 years of wide-ranging experience in digital marketing and/or paid media with focus on retail ecommerce with responsibility for results, including costs and methods.
    • Experience in dealing with Amazon and developing customized programs to maximize the platform.
    • Experience in defining or recommending specific KPIs in order to reach desired campaign objectives.
    • Significant project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Proven experience in dealing with Global teams, working with different cultures and understanding of market dynamics outside the US.
    • Experience managing external resources and media agencies required.
    • Experience in aggregating data from multiple sources into a holistic view or dashboard determining opportunities for optimization.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate constructive discussion.
    • Strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate graphic layouts for both style and impact with a focus on keeping things fresh and on trend. 
    • Experience with CRM and DMP platforms are a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability of working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
    • Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives.
    • Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
    • Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
    • 20-25% global travel required
